Welcome to Caseum, the enterprise ready business case analysis management application for iPad Pro running iOS 12.0. Caseum enables you to work anywhere, anytime you want -- be it in the office, at a client site or on the go -- thanks to the mobility convenience of iPad Pro. With Caseum, you can easily create and manage business cases with just a few taps.
What is Caseum?
Caseum is an easy to learn and use, yet powerful, business case analysis management application developed to extend business analysts abilities to manage business cases on iPad Pro.
Caseum organizes a business case analysis project into nine primary sections:
* Executive Summary
* Business Case Analysis Team
* Problem Definition
* Problem Overview
* Strategic Alignment
* Cost Benefits Analysis
* Alternative Analysis
* Approvals
* Appendices
The Project Overview section contains seven subsections:
* Project Description
* Goals and Objectives
* Project Performance
* Project Assumptions
* Project Constraints
* Project Milestones
The Appendices section contains two subsections:
* References
* Data Dictionary
Enterprise UI
Caseum uses the new enterprise-focused UI developed for the Quirem application and incorporated by the Accept application to provide a cleaner, lighter look and feel that provides more information in a clearer, more readable manner. The Quirem/Accept/Caseum UI strips away all of the unnecessary colors to provide a beautiful, immediately appealing UI.
The new UI displays your company name, your name, the name of the person who last modified content being viewed, as well as the date and time of the modification on nearly every view displayed an Caseum project. For the most part only three colors are used to display Project information:
* White
* Black
* Dark Gray
The new user interface also displays the view names you visited to get to the current view to help you understand how each previous view is related to the view you are working in.
Synchronizing Data
Like with Accept and Quirem, all data created in Caseum is stored directly on the iPad Pro in a Core Data database. Data can be synchronized with your corporate database using JSON OR REST-compliant Web Services. Caseum can be configured to use either JSON or XML to send/receive data during the synchronization process.
Data Sharing
Caseum offers two types of data sharing:
* Team member collaboration
* Inter-app communication
Team member collaboration enables nearby team members to use AirDrop to easily, quickly, securely send/receive Caseum data between iPad Pros. Inter-app communication enables you to share business case, acceptance test and requirements data between the Caseum, Accept and Quirem applications, respectively, when any two of the applications are installed on the same iPad Pro.
Also, when a business case analysis project is created in Caseum, the application asks if you want to create an associated acceptance test project in Accept and a requirements project in Quirem. If you agree, the Accept and Quirem applications are sent the project data to store in their own Core Data databases.
Traceability and Auditing
Caseum saves meta data about every save operation within a trace record stored in the Caseum Core Data database. This enables corporate governance to maintain an audit trail of all changes made to projects managed by Caseum.
Calendar Integration
When the project estimated end date has been saved, analysts can add the dates to the iOS Calendar app to help them with monitoring their schedules. Caseum respects privacy by asking permission to access Calendars before doing so.
